Ron's 'Reliable Five' Reliability Trial Series 2008

"I know a few riders have in the past have experienced the reliability trials detailed below, but Phil & Simon are interested in forming a Garforth Wheelers group that would be interested in completing all 5 rides. It would be our intention to ride as a group and look out for each other and finish together as a club run. The first ride is from Squires Cafe bar at Newthorpe and I would propose setting off from the Squash club at 8:45 in readiness to sign in and set off at 9:30 from Squires. Other routes may require 'park & ride'. Please post your interest. A shiny medal awaits those who complete all 5!"

SUNDAY 27th JANUARY 2008 - SEACROFT WHEELERS - 80km & 50km. Start and Finish - Squires Café Bar, 1.5 miles west of Sherburn-in -Elmet on B1222. Car park, refreshments and toilets available.
Start 9.30am, Latest finish 1.30pm.

 Route: (80k/50miles) Micklefield - Towton - Tadcaster - Wetherby - Sicklinghall - Harewood Bridge - Weardley - Alwoodley - Shadwell - Thorner - Aberford - Sherburn.

SUNDAY 3rd FEBRUARY 2008 - HARROGATE NOVA CC-80km & 50km. (YCF Clubrun).Start 0930 Rigton Railway Crossing - just off A658. Route: (80k) Wetherby-Boroughbridge-Ripon-Fountains Abbey-Ripley-Killinghall-Pennypot Lane. To Finish: Norwood Village Hall. (YCF Clubrun). Refreshments available.
